About 'Story Clothing'
Our History
In 2022 Alexis Hudson started a boutique in her garden in Surrey UK called SW Wardrobe. She met stylist Jilly Powell (Jillyp_Styling) at a summer festival in 2023. They build a friendship over their mutual love of clothing, style and helping women look and feel good. The friendship turned into a business collaboration and 'ReStory' Clothing was born
We started as an online brand and then opened our first boutique in June 2025 in Surrey. The boutique has grown and we have a loyal following of lovely customers as well as an international reach online. We decided to rebrand in December 2024 and simplified our name to just 'Story Clothing'

The Idea behind Story was built with a focus on Sustainable clothing with an elegant and timeless silhouette, We offer some lovely wardrobe staples combined with some elevated occasion pieces - all designed with a 'slow-fashion; ethos.

Our focus is on great quality, sustainable but affordable fashion, mixed with a personal service ensuring our customers get the maximum value from what they buy and feel good in what they wear. We maintain a low carbon footprint by manufacturing sustainably in Europe. We also work with other female owned brands to support other small businesses,​
